Husband of A. J. Quinlan, 16, Ebrington Street, Waterside, Londonderry.

A reservist and member of Ebrington Presbyterian Church, Sergeant Quinn fought throughout the Boer War. He went out to Salonika six months before his death from wounds on September 14, 1916, at the age of 41.
Hugh and Mrs Quinlan, 3, Clifton Street, signed the Ulster Solemn League and Covenant (September 1912) pledging resistance to Home Rule for Ireland.
