Name commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France, and on the Diamond War Memorial. Name also inscribed on St Columb’s Cathedral (Church of Ireland) Memorial to the men connected with that cathedral who died during the 1914-18 War.

Husband of Elizabeth Wray, 15, Fountain Street, Londonderry. Possibly father of Thomas Hugh Wray, who married Florence, third eldest daughter of John and Ellen McGinley, 1, Bond’s Street, Londonderry, on September 12, 1922, at All Saints, Clooney.

Thomas Wray’s name was read out during a memorial service held, in St Columb’s (Church of Ireland) Cathedral, Londonderry, on Sunday, June 28, 1918, to commemorate the Derry soldiers, who had been killed, or thought dead, over the past year.
