Interred in Longuenesse (St Omer) Souvenir Cemetery, Pas de Calais, France, and name inscribed on a marble tablet dedicated to the memory of those connected to Dunnalong Parish Church who fell in the Great War, 1914-18. Name also commemorated on the Diamond War Memorial.

Husband of Matilda (Tillie) Jervis (nee Bresland, later Taylor), 4, Robert Street/26, Benvarden Avenue, Waterside, Londonderry, whom he married on July 6, 1917, at Ebrington Presbyterian Church, Londonderry.

Sergeant Thomas Jervis returned to the Front on July 13, 1917, and received his fatal wound eight days later.
