Son of Albert and Ellen O’Hea, 249, Bishop Street, Londonderry.

Company Sergeant Major O'Hea was a holder of the Military Medal and Bar. A brother, Seaman Gunner Albert O’Hea, was killed in action on board H.M.S. ‘Monmouth’ in a Chilean coast battle in 1914. Another brother, Private John Francis O’Hea, of the Post Office Rifles, spent time as a prisoner of war at Dulmen.
